Game of Thrones Final Thoughts

After letting the end of HBO’s Game of Thrones marinate for a few days, I feel that I’m now ready to put out my thoughts and feelings on how it was wrapped up over the course of Season 8.

To say Season 8 was my favorite season would be an absolute lie. There was a lot of hype for a series of episodes that were rushed. Due to the rushing of storylines, we saw certain character arc’s get completely destroyed. To me, that is what put a damper on certain episodes throughout the season.

All in all, I’m not totally upset about how it ended. I WILL NOT sign a damn petition to get the season rewritten. All those who do sign that petition need to get a life. Or better yet, why don’t they start writing their own season? In the sections below, I’ll discuss my main takeaways and how I felt about the close of what was without a doubt one of the greatest TV shows of my life.
